I met up with Bob\u00a0Gautreaux, the Sedalia RC Flyers club\u00a0president, who showed me around and\u00a0introduced me to Lewis Patton, the\u00a0event contest director.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Lewis has done a great job of\u00a0managing and building this event into\u00a0the premier jet event. I have only seen one other\u00a0RC SR-71 fl y in the past\u2014a twin\u00a0ducted-fan model\u2014at an event called\u00a0the Show Me R\/C Extravaganza,\u00a0held in Jefferson City, Missouri,\u00a0approximately 16 or 17 years ago.
