Most\u00a0of the time it\u2019s like any other great\u00a0production\u2014it\u2019s the people behind the\u00a0scenes. They are the people you never\u00a0see, but they are there every step of\u00a0the way, making appearances, feeding\u00a0information, and answering questions.\u00a0Because our district is so big, this will\u00a0take a few columns, but I would like to\u00a0take time to introduce all our associate\u00a0vice presidents (AVPs). Here is a little\u00a0bit about some of these individuals\u00a0behind the scenes. He\u00a0started modeling in the early 1940s\u00a0with rubber-powered and hand-launch\u00a0models. After three years in the Air\u00a0Force, Red joined the AMA in the early\u00a01950s. He has served as a CD and in\u00a0various club officer positions including\u00a0president, secretary, treasurer, safety\u00a0officer, and newsletter editor.
