Frankie Mirandes, president of the Borinquen RC Model Club in Puerto Rico provides a picture story of the devastation to Puerto Rico, and the Borinquen RC Model Club’s flying site, caused by Hurricane Maria, the recovery of the flying site, and some of the activities after the recovery. It’s interesting to learn that the club has attracted over 30 new AMA members since the hurricane. I especially like the new mantra: “receive every new visitor with a SMILE.” What a great attitude!
