152 Clubs have shown their interest and support for the first annual National Model Aviation Day, two of which are outside the continental U.S. Aeromodelismo Borinquen, Inc from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Clyde Valley Flyers Model Aircraft Club <\/a>from Kilmacolm, Scotland have registered events showing support for this great day and cause.<\/p>\n

Registration for the national event will end on August 1, so please make sure to visit www.nationalmodelaviationday.org<\/a>.org to sign your club up before the deadline passes.<\/p>\n

All registered clubs will receive access to the club resources page, which has information about publicizing your event and making it a success. All club registered by August 1 will also receive National Model Aviation Day stickers at no cost.<\/p>\n

Information about applying for a state proclamation is also available on the club resources page. We encourage all clubs to do this. Indiana has recently proclaimed the date as Model Aviation Day.
