(Phote: Houston Chronicle)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The fly-in will take place at the club&#8217;s field, 2444 County Road 180, in Alvin. The field includes a 40-by-400-foot runway and a 100-by-800-foot runway.<\/p>\n<p>Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Participants will be charged a $15 landing fee per entry. Flying will start about 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Normally at these events there are lots of planes scattered around on the ground that folks can stroll around and look at starting fairly early,&#8221; Behrens added.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free for spectators, and concessions will be available.
