Radio-controlled airplanes soar at Stratford Woods Park

Sadness, not happiness, is usually the outcome from a plane crash. But, that’s not the case when Jerry Hahnfeld takes his radio-controlled planes flying.

“The good thing about this hobby is that you can have a really bad crash, and you can still drive away from the airfield. And the pilot is still smiling,” said Hahnfeld of Midland, a member of the Midland R/C (Radio Control) Modelers Club, Inc.
