The Academy established a program in the mid-1960s for local AMA members to join together as a group and secure use of private, commercial or public property for flying sites. This was structured under the concept of organized groups, which were identified as AMA Chartered Clubs. Today, the Academy provides liability coverage to approximately 2,400 chartered clubs throughout the United States.
Join the Casa Grande RC Flyers on March 30, 2013, starting at 9 am, at the club’s new flying field at 2725 S. Isom Road, on the southwest side of Casa Grande Mountain. The Casa Grande RC Flyers are AMA Club #5100, and chartered in May 2012.
