Hope a lot of the District V clubs are celebrating National Model Aviation Day on August 11. If not please help support some other clubs in the area. A lot of the clubs support the AMA Foundation and some local charities or nonprofits. At our club this year we are supporting a local pet adoption nonprofit and will be at our field. Articles in the local newspaper and radio announcements will help bring in the local people to see what model aviation is all about and maybe join our club. Have had many local businesses supporting us with free food and drinks. All money going to the adoption agency. Always fun to meet and talk to other people from your area.
